The Department of Urban Planning offers

• undergraduate minor in Urban and Regional Studies to UCLA students from many different disciplines
• Community Scholars program that brings together labor and community leaders with urban planning students to study planning issues in depth and provide community leaders with a forum in which to develop and further skills required to influence policy
•  a host of international study opportunities
• visiting scholars/affiliates program that makes the resources of UCLA available to scholars who wish to conduct research in the Los Angeles area
